SPRING-FORTH FOODS was established to be a major player in the Food industry in Ghana. Spring-Forth Foods exist to provide value addition to Ghana’s agriculture produce with concentration on yam tubers. We bridge the gap between abundance, wastage and scarcity and provide market to farmers especially women.The Company advances a three-phased paradigm which seeks to ensure minimal to no wastage of yam tubers at the farm level, at the home level, and at the export level. This involves leveraging on innovation and technology in harvesting the yam tubers, processing the yams into frozen yam chips and finally converting waste products from processing into feed for piggery.The driving force for the Company is the processing of yam tubers into frozen yam chips in its raw state, which serves as a convenient, easy, and simple way for customers to prepare.Additionally, we will be working with the Sickle Cell Foundation of Ghana to donate a percentage of our sales to the Foundation.
