Buchu is one of South Africa’s oldest known medicines and exports. In 1821 it was listed in the British Pharmacopoeia as a medicine with potent natural anti-inflammatory properties. Buchu also has anti-fungal and antibacterial properties, enabling it to act as a natural antibiotic with no side effects. The taste is minty and fresh, crisp and deep. It can be re-infused until the cows comes home.
