Tropical Plants (Nig) Limited (RC 1603996) is a food and agricultural exporting company incorporated with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) in Nigeria. It was legally registered with the CAC in 2019 and has been licensed by the Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC) to export foods and agricultural commodities.However, before former incorporation in 2019, the company has been in enterprise of agribusiness since 2017 in growing and exporting valuable food and agricultural products on retail level and has since then expanded the scale and scope of its market to include sourcing, processing and packaging some products such as Mucuna Pruriens Seeds (Velvet Beans), Turmeric. Ginger, Moringa Leaves, Baobab Powder, Hibiscus Flowers, Roasted Cashew Kernels, Onion Powder, Garlic Powder, etc. using the cleanest, organic and natural methods to meet the standards of our buyers in North America and Europe.Our African story has been the journey that we were able to help local farmers increase their sale and income from lower to average earnings and this is helping to expand their farms and opportunities. For example, in 2018 when we started turmeric and Mucuna Pruriens farming in a small community in Benue State, Nigeria, the cultivation of the product was completely new to them because no economic benefit was attached to it. Today, through our local partnership we have made it attractive to the farmers in this community because we were able to offtake all cultivated with reasonable price and yearly this generates income for them to meet their socio-economic needs and wants. By 2022 we want to introduce cultivation of ginger to this same community because the success of turmeric means ginger can succeed through them.In a nutshell, we have moved from a small agribusiness in the country to a more vibrant establishment doing businesses with people from all continents. We are helping local farmers offtake their produces and processing and shipping them to food stores across continents and making valuable return to farmers in our local community. WE hope to become one of top superfoods exporting companies in West Africa in few years to come and trickle down immensely its blessings to farmers that are making it possible.
