Custom Labelling Dried Scotch Bonnet Chilli Pepper
Scotch bonnet pepper also called Bonney pepper is a variety of chili named after its resemblance to a hat with a sweet and hot flavor. It is stouter in shape, spherical, a little more squashed, and smaller (3.25-4cm) compared to habanero pepper. When ripening, it changes color from pale green to yellow or scarlet red and some other varieties of this pepper ripen to orange peach or chocolate brown. Our scotch bonnet pepper is grown in Uganda with good fertile soils and adequate rainfall. It is harvested and well dried to keep the taste and flavor fully intact. Our farmers use natural methods of farming guaranteeing non-GMO products
Very closely related to the Habanero chili, the Scotch Bonnet (or Bahamian, Bahama Mama, Jamaican Hot, or Martinique Pepper) is one of the hottest chilies in the world with a heat rating of 100,000–350,000 Scoville units. It has a similar apple-cherry tomato flavor, spherical and more squashed in shape with 3.25-4 cm in diameter.
The scotch bonnet pepper has a sweet flavor with a pinch of hotness, range in color from yellow to green to red, with some varieties ripening to shades of orange and brown.
