Albe Farms was established and registered in 1995 by Mr. Albert Amponsah, an Agribusiness developer. The company exports 67% of pineapples to the European market through giant importers and sells 33% locally. rnrnThe Enterprise operates as a grower cooperative made up of 500 farmers in the Nsawam and Aburi area in the Eastern Region of Ghana for its supplies of pineapple for export and 100 other out-growers in other parts of Greater Accra Region.rnrnCurrently the company has five main subsidiaries namely:rno Farmingrno Processing of farm productsrno Marketing and exportingrno Irrigation and training
